Al-Wefaq: Resorting to foreign militants is abandonment of independence and sovereignty

Resorting to militants from abroad to repress its own people reveals the deep disorder the regime suffers when dealing with the people of Bahrain.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Reports in the media stated that there are foreign security and military forces who are taking part in the nonstop state brutal crackdown on the people of Bahrain, according to information and official sources in their countries.Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society emphasized that the sovereignty and independence of Bahrain are sacred and cannot go under any sort of concession . “It is illegitimate for the regime to go for abandoning sovereignty and independence of our homeland. This is unquestionably rejected by the people and will lead to more complicated crises”.Al-Wefaq, also, added that “resorting to militants from abroad to repress its own people reveals the deep disorder the regime suffers when dealing with the people of Bahrain. This blatantly illustrates how the security doctrine is tyrannically dominating the decision with brutality, repression, vindictiveness and unjust escape from  political rights, on the expense Bahrain and its future”.“For several times, the people of Bahrain reconfirmed their legitimate demands by keeping them as loud and clear as nobody can circumvent or fool. The people unhesitatingly have chosen the complete and full independence for Bahrain. The people will never abandon national sovereignty that has been gained with blood and sacrifices of all factions in Bahrain, including Sunni and Shiia”, al-Wefaq added.Al-Wefaq stressed that the constitution clearly states that “The sovereignty is for the people who are the source of all powers” and the sovereignty of Bahrain cannot be waived. “The seventies’ UN referendum, the historical gigantic demonstration in May 18th  2012, along with many other stages are milestones where the people of Bahrain reassured their adherence to the sovereignty and independence of their homeland. On the other hand, the regime reiterated its readiness, several times, to abandon the independence of Bahrain”, al-Wefaq stated.“The recruitment of foreign forces to take part in unpatriotic missions which are beyond the agreed national framework; illustrates the abandonment of national sovereignty and can’t be accepted under any circumstance”, adding, “all attempts to use the regime’s relations to confront and fight the popular aspirations have failed; and will always fail. The people are highly aware of their universal human rights”.Al-Wefaq pointed out that importing mercenaries to work for security services and brutally repress peaceful people, added to the political naturalization of huge numbers of foreigners,; and exposing Bahrain to the sectarian and regional polarization and suspicious plans; all together cannot win the battle against the strong will of the people who are strongly eager to achieve real democracy and freedom”./129
