(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The regime forces in Bahrain have arrested 42 Shiite citizens, including 2 children, and raided 216 Shiite homes over the first six days of this month.According to the numbers of the Liberties and Human Rights Department (LHRD) in Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, 178 protests took place over the six days in different areas of the country. While the regime forces practiced collective punishment using shotgun and toxic teargas against 87 areas in attempt to silence voices calling for democratic transition.The forces threw two mosques with teargas canisters during their collective punishment on the village of Karzakan.Over just six days, the LHRD documented 7 cases of cruel and degrading treatment and 18 injuries due to the regime forces violence and repression.The LHRD also documented 7 cases of vandalism of private property by the forces and in 2 cases private belongings were confiscated. /129
