Book released on Islam’s view on population control

Farajollah Naderi has penned a book on Islam’s view on human population control.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Published by Bustan Ketab, the book is arranged in four chapters discussing issues about human population control like the holy Quran and the population issue, population growth in Islamic views, jurisprudential views on population growth and control. Entitled as ‘Population Control in Islam’, the book addresses seminary students, and begins with a discussion on population and topics like nutrition, occupation, education, housing, security, and independence. Quran’s views on creation, marriage, production, and children are considered in chapter two of the book. Islamic population control, views of Maraje and assessment of methods to prevent production of babies through Islamic methods are discussed in other sections of the book. The work is organized in 232 pages and 1,000 of its copies are now released in the Iranian book market. /149
