Bahrain opposition parties condemn Al-Riffa bombing and reject all forms of violence

The National Democratic Opposition Parties condemn the bombing and those who stand behind it and those who planned or executed it.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Ministry of Interior announced on Wednesday evening (17 July 2013) an explosion of a car, using a gas cylinder, in a parking lot of a mosque in Riffa. The opposition parties declare their refusal of any forms of terrorizing of innocent people anywhere in Bahrain, including mosques and places of worship.The opposition stressed their rejection of all kinds of violence and condemns those who practice and incite violence, whoever they may be. Slipping into the cycle of violence and counter-violence will drown our country in the rejected security tension. Adding, that the way out of the constitutional political crisis ravaging the country is through a political solution.The opposition parties affirmed their commitment to a peaceful political movement in demanding the legitimate rights of the Bahraini people to freedom, democracy and social justice. All local and international experiences confirm that the security solution cannot lead any country to political and social stability.Al Wefaq National Islamic Society in Bahrain condemned the car incident in Riffa and considered it a dangerous matter that is odd and strange to the Bahraini community. Al Wefaq stressed that is against all violent projects regardless of its source and this act is strange to the nature of the peaceful Bahraini community. Such strange incidents have repeatedly taken place and may be aiming to mix issues. Al Wefaq said the prompt and unbalanced statements made by some officials aim at political blackmail.
