Malaysian Prime Minister wishes well during Ramadan

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak conveyed his well wishes to Muslims throughout the country who will begin their fasting during the Ramadan month tomorrow.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - "I take this opportunity to wish 'selamat berpuasa' to all Muslims throughout Malaysia. 

"Hopefully, we can discharge our religious obligation this year in a better manner than in the past, insya-Allah," Najib said in his latest entry in the Facebook and Twitter. 

The Keeper of the Rulers' Seal, Datuk Seri Syed Danial Syed Ahmad announced that the fasting month for all states in Malaysia would begin on Wednesday. 

Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin called on all Muslims to strengthen brotherhood and unity of the ummah so that Islam will always be respected by all. 

"Let's spend the month by increasing our good deeds and getting closer to Allah and asking for His forgiveness. 

"Hopefully, by fasting throughout the month of Ramadan will help us be more patient in life's facing trials and tribulations," he said in his message in conjunction with the beginning of Ramadan.
