The Putrajaya Ramadan Festival is set to be the largest bazaar to be held at the Federal administrative capital.Putrajaya Corporation (PPj) president Tan Sri Aseh Che Mat said it would be the first large scale bazaar organised by the corporation.'It starts on July 10 and ends on Aug 7. The bazaar will be held at Precinct 3 and covers areas surrounding the Putrajaya Corporation Complex, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque and Qiblat Walk (the walkway from the complex to the mosque),' he said yesterday.The objective of the bazaar, said Aseh, was to provide an alternative location for the Putrajaya community to enjoy food for the breaking of fast with family and friends.'The bazaar traders will also be selling clothes, accessories and other items in preparation for Hari Raya.' 'There will also be religious activities and exhibitions,' said Aseh.He added the main highlight of the festival is the Perdana Forum that would be held on July 26 to 28 in conjunction with the Nuzul Quran celebrations.'Religious programmes will also be held such as Tadarus Al-Quran and Qiammulail at Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque aside from Tazkirah by popular ustaz and ustazah in our country.' He said dates and Zam Zam water would be distributed for free to the public and there would be free breaking of fast and Moreh sessions at the mosque daily./129
