TANZANIA, Africa (Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Bilal Muslim Mission-Moshi branch in Tanzania, celebrated the birth of Imam Mahdi (atfs) on 15thSha’baan in a very different way. This time they organized a small competition instead of lectures as usual whereby 14 students from Bilal Madressa and SYDP participated in a 10 minute talk on various aspects of the life of the holy Imam Mahdi (atfs).The competition was on subject of the birth of Imam, the minor (Sagheer) and major (Kabeer) occultation (ghaibah) and the events that will occur before the appearance of Imam Mahdi. The competition was judged by Sheikh Sajaad. The main aim for the competition was for the students to talk infront of an audience with confidence and fluently. All the students who participated in elocution were given a token gift. Students from the neighbouring Shia Madrassa, MadrassatalShuhada, were also invited to the function. Iftar was served at the end of the program.
