Bahrain (Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Abdullah Al-Aali, former MP and member of al-Wefaq bloc said, “We will not accept the attacks on holy religious places in Bahrain. Such practices are not accepted by all religions”. He said the regime is making a declaration to the local and international public that the violations methodology is ongoing and will not be stopped.The Government has repeatedly prevented citizens from rebuilding the mosques it had demolished for retaliative motives during the state of emergency in 2011. These mosques are still subjected to attacks and vandalism.Al-Aali said the Government’s practices are totally refused and contradict with fundamental human rights and law. He said the Government is attempts to use the law in its retaliative campaign against a wide faction of the Bahraini people.He said the repeated attacks on the mosques raise questions on the Government’s respect to religious rituals.Al-Aali stressed that mosques are holy to all Muslims and even other religions, and such attacks cannot go on. He demanded the Government to rebuild the demolished mosques without delay and to stop any infringement on the lands of the mosques./129
