Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) World Assembly Slams Desecration of Holy Site

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Terrorist groups on Wednesday raided the mausoleum of Hujr Ibn Uday, a companion of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in the Damascus suburb of Adra, and transferred his remains to an unknown location. The Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) World Assembly referred to verses 204-205 of Surah Al-Baqara “And of mankind there is he whose speech may please you (O Muhammad), in this worldly life, and he calls Allah to witness as to that which is in his heart, yet he is the most quarrelsome of the opponents. And when he turns away (from you O Muhammad ), his effort in the land is to make mischief therein and to destroy the crops and the cattle, and Allah likes not mischief.” It regretted that once again the sinful hands of the enemies desecrated Islamic sanctities by exhuming the grave of the Holy prophet’s (PBUH) companion. The statement said those who perpetrated this crime have no relation to Islam and the Muslim Ummah and are the cronies of the Zionists and the US intelligence apparatuses. The Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) World Assembly strongly condemned the crime and warned that Muslims, especially scholars and the elites should be aware of the danger of extremism and Takfir (considering fellow Muslims as infidels) and stand up against the destructive Takfiri current.End item/ 149
