(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The member of al-Wefaq's bloc, Sayed Ahmed al-Alawi, said he was dismayed to hear the Justice Minister's provocative statement against the religious beliefs of a wide sect of the Bahraini community.
The Justice Minister had made statements against the religious concept of the arrival and tried to use the notion to advocate dictatorship. Al-Alawi stated that this concept is not put forth in this crisis, adding, the world knows very well our demands for a democratic state based on justice and equality and which have been clearly stated in the "Manama Document".
Al-Alawi said, with such statements, the minister is attempting to elude from the political crisis the regime has created by its insistence to hold and control all powers and national wealth.
"If we were in a democratic monarchy, he and his ministry officials wouldn't have been able to demolish 38 mosques and remain in their positions as if nothing has happened", he said.
The political majority of the Bahraini people demands peaceful transfer of power in a democratic political system.
