(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The 7-volume set of encyclopedia of Islam Prophet (PBUH)’s companions has been unveiled in the presence of at the premise of Islamic Propagation Organization on Wednesday, April 17.
The first volume of the book deals with Islam Prophet’s (PBUH) companions namely Banihashem and the rest of them arranged in alphabetical order.
This works does not just cover the narrations cited in this realms,” said Head of Al-Bagher Al-Oloum Research Center, Hussein Qashqaei.
Speaking in the unveiling ceremony, Qashqaei underscored that the present works is a painstaking scientist research.
“The compendium is the most exhaustive one in its kind,” said Head of Al-Bagher Al-Oloum Research Center stating that most of the references in the work belong to Sunni sources.
It is noteworthy that the compendium takes a closer look at the lives of 300 of Islam Prophets’ companions and disciples. The book, moreover, recounts a series of events occurred in the span recorded backs to their time.
The book compiled in 3547 pages and released by the publication of ‘International’.
