The masses stressed that their sincere loyalty to their beloved Bahrain has driven them to insist on their demand for a democratic transition despite the regime's inflexibility and its repressive security measures that have been undertaken against the people.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The National Democratic opposition parties in Bahrain praise the masses of Bahrain who patriotically responded to the call of the homeland and took to the streets in huge numbers on 19th April 2012. The masses stressed that their sincere loyalty to their beloved Bahrain has driven them to insist on their demand for a democratic transition despite the regime's inflexibility and its repressive security measures that have been undertaken against the people.

The National opposition parties stressed that the National popular demands that have been raised by the people of Bahrain since 14th February, 2013 are obvious and predetermined demands ,  aim to realize a permanent  political  stability in Bahrain and to end authoritarianism of power and wealth by transferring  it to the hand of the people. Authoritarianism has created many crises that led to the absence of the real state and has affected all political, economical, security as well as living parts of life in Bahrain.

As a political majority that has been continuously taking to the streets, the people of Bahrain has proved that the demand for a democratic transition is so essential to establish a state of justice and dignity to finally realize a political stability in Bahrain. The demands that have been raised by the 14th February revolution are already demands that have been raised for decades for which many sacrifices have been made. Such demands cannot be neglected under any circumstances.

The demand of the people of Bahrain is to establish a secure modern state based on the will of the people to exercise their self-determination by choosing their political system where the " the people is the source of all powers", where the people will have all legitimacy, peaceful rotation of power and have the chance to establish a modern state that is based on quality, justice and equal opportunities for all citizens of Bahrain.

The National Democratic opposition parties in Bahrain stress that the demand for a democratic transition which based on "the people is the source of all powers" is an essential demand and will never be abandoned under any circumstances….the National Democratic opposition parties also would like to mention many issues :

Firstly: the people of Bahrain are facing an appalling discrimination exercised by the ruling family which has been controlling the political decision as well as the national wealth. The Bahraini people, like any other people in the world, is   longing to freedom.  Many sacrifices have been offered ,many workers have been dismissed unlimited violations perpetrated against them , isn't it time the international community, practically,  showed its solidarity with the  people of Bahrain by having  more pressure on the regime to make it respect the human rights and fulfill the demands of the people of Bahrain

Secondly: we invite all international media and press agencies that are in Bahrain to speak for the Bahraini people and, neutrally, tell the truth to the world about the oppression and suppression that are being exercised against Bahrainis. For the last two years, the regime has been trying to hide the peaceful civilized movement of the people of Bahrain and to prevent any international solidarity stances that might occur in favor of the Bahraini People.

Thirdly: the regime in Bahrain has been trying to mislead the international community by using sports and economical events to hide the peaceful pro-democracy movement of the people of Bahrain. The regime wants to promote that there is no suffocating political crisis , but the people of Bahrain has succeeded in unveiling the regime's fake claims, of not having a political crisis,  by non-stop peaceful events across Bahrain which are dominating the political scene in Bahrain.

Fourthly: the regime has employed all its tools to incite sectarian hatred and division among the factions of the Bahraini community; it also has used its tools to incite violence and encouraged its forces to use excessive violence against pro-democracy citizens. The people of Bahrain have met all these desperate attempts with high level of self-restraints by maintaining their unity with the opposition and all factions of the people of Bahrain and committing themselves to peaceful civilized way of protesting.

The people of Bahrain have taken to the streets demanding for a real change. they have suffered all vindictive violations that are humanitarianly denounced and have   tolerated all political repression and human rights violations just  to realize the demands that have been in peoples' feelings for decades and passed on from a generation to another , men and women, old and young.

The revolution in Bahrain is based on a national demand. It is unfair to accuse the vast national majority of being sectarian, as all defragments of the Bahraini society are directly participated in the revolution. However, it is not accepted to describe the movement as a movement of a faction or a sector, because the whole people are demanding a democratic transition in Bahrain.

The people of Bahrain have been striving for freedom since the twenties and it's so outrageous to describe the demand of democracy and rejecting the dictatorship as treason or has a foreign agenda. Dignity, justice and democracy that the people of Bahrain is longing to are deep-rooted in the feeling of the Bahraini people as they are common senses for all human communities in all over the world.

Such huge popular movement, with more than half of the population taking to the streets, cannot be described as an aimless movement. The movement in Bahrain has been recognized as the most peaceful with the largest popular participation among countries of the Arab Spring. It is illogical to describe more than a half of the people, as terrorists just because they demand democracy and a state of law. The Bahraini people have offered huge sacrifices for this aim, whilst, the regime still insists on meeting these demands with more repression and excessive force to silence them.

The opposition has proposed a pioneer political project to establish a better future for Bahrain which can produce the desired sustainable stability. But, the tyrannical mentality --- which is selfishly dominating all the resources in the homeland --- illegitimately fights against the future of Bahrain with all means, powers, people's wealth and repressive inhumane measures.

People of Bahrain demand being fairly represented in real powers which are emanated from the legitimacy of the people. This clearly demonstrated in Manama Document, the patriotic roadmap which includes the opposition vision to resolve the crisis in Bahrain. It is an advanced and futuristic political project which is capable to return back all the powers to the people. It includes:

1. An elected government, which represents the will of people.

2. A parliament with full legislative and supervisory powers.

3. Electoral constituencies, as per the global standard of one-man-one-vote.

4. Impartial and fair judiciary which isn't controlled by any side and not used in the regime's fight against its opponents.

5. Security for all the people of Bahrain with all society fragments must be integrated within the security services. Along with, reforming these services and re-define their security doctrine to match the constructive patriotic approach.

Any political resolution is meaningless without putting its details to a referendum, in order to apply the concept of "sovereignty of the people". Other than the referendum, is merely failing attempts to buy time through non-serious dialogues which need to be provided with essential factors to succeed, not more repression. Adopting such brutal way doesn't reflect a patriotic approach to save Bahrain.

Bahraini people are free and steadfast, and will never leave yards of pro-democracy protests. They will never abandon their legitimate demands of respecting human rights and real democratic transition in Bahrain. They have chosen the nonviolence approach and will strongly adhere to its means--- whatever it takes--- until achieving the rights of self-determination and democracy.

We praise our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of freedom and dignity. We praise all prisoners of conscience behind the tyrannical bars, who are unjustly overpopulating the prisons of the regime; especially the political figures and human rights defenders.

Our people, the peaceful freedom fighters, will not accept any resolution that will not include the release all of these political prisoners.
