(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A Bahraini citizen suffered from the regime forces hostile practices when they put out cigarettes in his body during their collective punishment on a residential area a few days ago.
The forces raided at least four houses in different areas in Bahrain and arrested nine citizens and one child. Those arrested were subjected to torture during arrests, while others sustained injuries as a result of the excessive force used by the regime forces against protesters.
Thursday and Friday witnessed collective punishment conducted by the forces against residential areas where pro-democracy protests had taken place included the use of birdshot guns and toxic gas canisters which the forces throw inside private homes.
Wide protests took place in many areas across the country demanding transition to democracy. In the village of Buri, west of the capital Manama, the security forces went on alert and surrounded the area following a peaceful protest march. One cleric was arrested at a checkpoint and had his leg burnt with ciggarretes.
In Aali, the security forces deployed on alert and attacked two protests with fire arms and toxic gas. The whole area was rained with toxic gas canisters. A restaurant window was broken by a toxic gas canister. A house was raided, and minors between 11 and 16 years old were subjected to arrests and assaults.
A whole family suffered from toxic teargas attacks during the regime forces' collective punishment on Juffair, a suburb of the capital Manama.
