(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - More than 26 political detainees in the Dry Dock prison dropped unconscious after going on hunger strike to protests the ill-treatment they are subjected to by the prison's administration. According to families of the detainees the prison administration is denying them fundamental rights.
The detainees will enter their fifth day tomorrow (11th April), and this raises concern and fear over their health conditions, especially after news of officers threatening the detainees to sign a disclaimer of responsibility else face new fabricated charges. The prison officers have not taken any measures to improve the poor situation of the detention cell.
News said both detainees, Hasan Ali Al-Haddati and Mohammed Salman were abducted by security personals from their detention cells in the Dry dock prison to unknown destinations and their whereabouts are unknown for more than 24 hours now.
