(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Security services in Bahrain are tightening on prisoners of conscience and political prisoners, in an attempt to crack them down through inhumane practices that include insults and behavior that degrades the dignity towards these detainees. The procedures include a recently developed procedure, which is preventing detainees from meeting with their families under the pretext of imposing uniform for detainees during family visits. The detainees considered this behavior degrading of their dignity and refused to accept it. But those supervising detention tried to impose it by force by preventing visits and confiscation rights of detainees. This comes in conjunction with the increasing complaints of depriving detainees from medical treatment within prisons, as well as exposing them to solitary confinement as illegal punishments. In addition to depriving them of purchasing and of being supplied with basic needs like detergents and widgets.Security forces also campaign punishments on prisoners and cells subjecting them to varieties of torture, humiliation and disrespect/129
