Intensifying the restrictions against the Chinese Muslims

The Chinese government has intensified its imposed restrictions against the Muslims of this county and this limitation even includes the Muslim funerals and prayers.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The activities of the Chinese Muslims who are known as Uyghur’s which they live in the Zhenzhong province of this country have strongly been restricted by the Chinese government.

These restrictions are so severe that even include the daily prayers and the burial ceremonies. “Since the new deputy governor has been appointed and mandated to oversee the religious activities these restrictions have been doubled” One of the Uighur teachers said in a radio interview.

Huki the deputy provincial governor in Zhenzhong that was elected two years ago has been shown an awkward encounter with religious activity.

Human rights groups are protesting against the cracking down on Chinese Muslims by the governments for years.

Teachers, university professors, students, and other government employees in China are denied from fasting in the month of Ramadan, holding daily prayers, distributing religious books and wearing the Islamic veil.

Youth under the age of eighteen years in China cannot attend mosques or religious schools to study.

The history of Islam in China goes back to more than 650 AC and the population of Muslim in China is 40.000.000 who most of them are living at the provinces of Jiang Xian, Gansu, Nyngshya and Qinghai.
