Sheikh Isa Qassim: Al-Khalifa even imprisons the martyrs

Senior Bahraini Shia cleric, in mentioning the confiscation of the body of one of the revolutionary martyrs after 8 days of martyrdom said: “Al-Khalifa even imprisons the martyrs”

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - In this week’s Friday prayer sermons held in the Imam Sadiq Mosque in the city of Daraz, Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, senior Bahraini Shias cleric, emphasizing that the disagreement is between the nation and the Al-Khalifa regime said: “A dialogue in which no representative of the nation attends it directly, is not recognized. The societies and individuals attending the dialogues with the Al-Khalifa are not the representative of the nation.”He added: “Holding referendum for the results of the dialogues is necessary and anyone who wants to end the protests must hold these referendums. The people’s commitment to the results of these talks without considering their opinion is impossible.”Ayatollah Isa Qassim, mentioning the gravity of the protesters to end the current crisis in this country, stated: “The nation is strongly after the end of the crisis based on serious reforms but the regime is not willing to end the problems.”The leader of the Shias of Bahrain emphasized: “The opposition does not want the talks to be finished without result but those who are still after killing people and crushing them by cars, are also after the failure of the talks.”“Al-Khalifa officials have confiscated the body of the martyr Mohammad Aljazeeri more than 8 days ago and are refusing to return the body to the family of the martyr."Bahrain was known as the prison of the living but it’s now becoming a prison for the noble martyrs.” The Islamic jurist said, in other part of his address, harshly criticizing the official for not delivering the body of one of the martyrs of the revolution.Sheikh Isa Qassim added: “We are living in a country that, honor the number of living prisoners, female prisoners and martyred prisoners, an honor that the nation hates it.”In mentioning the importance of life of the security forces and worthlessness of blood of the people in Bahrain, he explained: “The blood of the police in Bahrain is so valuable – and we support this – but the blood of the sons and daughter on the nation is so cheap and religious, wisdom, law, and humanity oppose this issue.”The leader of the Bahrain Shias emphasized: “Jail sentences based on confess under torture and force shows the value of life of the police and exoneration of murderers of the nation shows worthlessness of blood of the nation.”/129
