Al-Wefaq: Jalila al-Salman's dismissal is retaliation against Bahraini citizens

Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society in Bahrain condemned the transferring of the official institutions to police-style-institutions that are used for retaliation against citizens, especially dissidents and activists, instead of playing their role in serving all citizens.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society in Bahrain condemned the transferring of the official institutions to police-style-institutions that are used for retaliation against citizens, especially dissidents and activists, instead of playing their role in serving all citizens.

The Education Ministry's decision to dismiss the vice-president of Bahrain's Teachers Association (BTA), Mrs. Jalila al-Salman, comes within the escalated security campaign for retaliation, and which merely aims to further complicate the crisis, al-Wefaq added.

Al-Wefaq stated that the regime's practices do not reflect a serious desire for dialogue as more violations and damage against citizens are practiced on ground on a daily basis.

Al-Wefaq criticized the decision of being illegal and retaliative. This decision comes after a similar decision taken about a month ago to dismiss some of the best Bahraini medics who have long served the country and spared no efforts for the sake of this nation.
