(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Hujatoleslam Mohammad Naghdi said that Tarjoman Vahy Institute was founded in 1993 in Iran to pursue the translation of the holy Quran into 22 languages of the world. Caretaker of the institute added that the center has so far released the translation of the book into seven languages like English, Chinese and Turkish. The English rendition of the holy has been released in north American countries. He further asserted that translation of the book into five other languages is being prepared for publication and is being proofread by language experts at the institute. The translations are Georgian, Balti, Hindi, Maranao and Japanese. As he said, ten other languages are being researched for translation of the holy Quran into them. He went on to assess the institute’s performance satisfactory in terms of its missions.End item/ 149
