(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - In the final communique of Friday's mass protest, "Democracy is our Goal", the National Democratic Opposition Parties in Bahrain stress that the security solution undertaken by the regime to face the pro-democracy movement affirms the need for change, and it only deepens and further complicates the crisis which the regime takes responsibility of.
Meanwhile, the people will not stop demanding for their rights, and the regime's political circumventing alongside the suppression and killings will be met with more outrage to end the long eras of tyranny and exclusion by achieving the political-majority's demands for transition to democracy.
Unfortunately, the regime's escalation in its suppressive policy is a result of a mentality which does not believe in reform nor the people's rights and is indifferent to their demands. The regime's recent escalation indicated that it has no desire to end the crisis via a political solution, instead, it is killing every opportunity for a solution by which the rightful demands of the people can be met.
For over one week now, the regime is appallingly detaining the body of the 20 year old martyr Mahmood Al-Jazeeri. With the detention of the thousands of prisoners tortured in Bahraini jails, the regime is now entering a higher stage of outrageous violations by detaining the body of a victim who has been killed by its forces. However, this is not the first time the regime detains a martyr's body, as it had previously detained the bodies of two martyrs, Ahmed Islmail and Yousif Muwali.
The National Democratic Opposition Parties assure the regime that the suppressive policy it has long depended on will only be faced with wider anger and refusal and the people will be more convinced that their demands for democracy must be met. The people must truly and actually be the source of all powers and must be enabled to manage their country's affairs under the peaceful transfer of power. The executive and legislative authorities must also be established by the people through elections. These are the bases of a real solution.
