(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Recently, civil armed militias have been perpetrating killings, vandalizing and crimes in different areas of Bahrain. The regime forces have backed these militias and even participated in some of the outrageous crimes.
Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society in Bahrain held the regime full responsibility of all criminal and bloody acts perpetrated by civilian armed militias and other forces disguised in civilian clothes. The regime takes full responsibility of the current systemic security escalation and the excessive use of force against dissidents, al-Wefaq stated.
The statement said, "All of these crimes are of regime's responsibility, including those perpetrated by civil militias, especially after reactivating these criminal acts and murders through militia groups in residential areas and neighborhoods; along with horrible violations carried out by regime forces against peaceful citizens", Al-Wefaq stressed.
"Recently, these armed and regime-backed militias are widely acting in several areas in Bahrain. Al-Wefaq Liberties and Human Rights Department (LHRD) documented three cases of live-bullet-shooting in 3 different areas. The first incident was a direct shot from a civilian car at a group of citizens in Duraz area. The other was from a civilian car in A'ali area. The third was live shots at children in Buri area, left them with severe injuries".
Al-Wefaq said that, "The regime and its forces exclusively own weapons in Bahrain, and therefore the regime is in charge of empowering gunmen and supervising the misuse of weapons to murder, commit crimes and human rights' violations against dissents".
"Many civilian cars without identity or numbers were used in house raids in Al-Ekr area, and were backed by regime forces. They illegally raided houses and perpetrated many human rights violations against innocent families", Al-Wefaq mentioned.
Al-Wefaq pointed out that "the run-over incident that took place in Dar-Kulaib and was documented by camera was perpetrated by a civilian in his car. This ensures that there are orders to commit these illegal actions by hostile gangs and groups of criminals; in the context of vindictive actions against dissidents. The
Systematic nature of these crimes can't be committed without high-level orders".
