Encyclopedia of Prophet’s companions to be showcased at Tehran International Book Fair

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Manager of the research group of the encyclopedia stated that the work will be published in 7 volumes and 4 languages. As Abdolreza Asgari stated, the entries of the work have been completed and its volumes will be printed very soon. The first volume of the encyclopedia deals with the Prophet’s house including Imam Ali, Hazrat Fatemeh, Imam Hassan and Imam Hussein and is arranged in 493 pages. The second volume focuses on 21 of the closest companions of the Prophet and is arranged in 704 pages. 63 other Islamic figures are considered in the 3rd volume beginning with Aban ibn Saeid and closing with Oveis Gharani. The rest of the volumes consider other companions who had historical significance in Islam. The project took 5 years to complete and it will be published into English, Arabic and Turkish. On the whole, 300 figures are introduced in 4,093 pages of the encyclopedia which will be published by Bagher al-Oloum Research Center and will be presented at the 26th Tehran International Book Fair.End item/ 149
