Region’s Shia,Sunni Scholars Urged to Cooperate in Support of Bahrain’s Revolution

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Addressing a regional conference for solidarity with the oppressed people of Bahrain, Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Hassan Akhtari also criticized the world media for failing to properly covering the Al-e Khalifa regime’s crimes against Bahraini people. He said Western media cover every incident all over the world but refuse to expose the crimes of Al-e Khalifa regime against Bahrainis that have continued for two years. “Different countries have remained silent over the plight of Bahrain’s people. This makes the responsibility of Muslim scholars even heavier. They should be urged to come to scene and take stances against barbaric killings committed by the Al-e Khalifa regime. He urged the Muslim world scholars to put pressure on the UN and other international bodies to adopt a serious stand against the crimes of the Bahraini regime. Elsewhere in his remarks, Hojat-ol-Islam Akhtari pointed to the terrorist bombings against Shia Muslims in Quetta, Pakistan, as well as terrorist attacks in Iraq and the war launched by Takfiri groups against Syria’s resistance as the conspiracies against the school of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).End item/ 149
