Iran: Ten Days Covenant with the Prophet of Mercy and Justice

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Secretary of Cultural Affairs of the Ahl al-Bayt (‘a) World Assembly announces the holding of a ten-day Covenant with the Holy Prophet of mercy and justice in Islamic Iran and abroad concurrently with the auspicious anniversaries of the seal of Prophets (s) and of Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (‘a) as a positive reaction to the desecrating of the holy person of the Prophet and of Islamic sanctities. According to ABNA news agency, during these ten days, the holy Prophet of mercy and justice will be remembered and revered.The programs during these ten days will be held with the axis of the holy Prophet (s) and in different scientific, cultural, propagating and media frameworks on from Rabi’ul Awwal 9 - 19/ January 21 - 31, 2013 according to the secretary of cultural affairs of the Ahl al-Bayt (‘a) World Assembly.Hujjat al-Islam Dr. Najaf Lakzaee has said: "The programs during this week will be held along with a press conference in Tehran by the honored Secretary General of the Assembly, presenting works published on the holy Prophet (‘s) by the Assembly. The press conference will be held in Tehran on Monday, Rabi’ul Awwal 9/Bahman 1391/January 21 - 31, 2013. Referring to the Ahl al-Bayt (‘a) World Assembly publishing 64 books in 18 languages on different walks of life and knowledge of the holy Prophet (s) as well as 28 other works in the making, he said: "After presenting these works in Tehran, the above fair has already been held in Qum, and it will be open for the educated, seminarians, university students and all individuals who are interested in divine knowledge until the end of the ten daysAnnouncing the holding of other programs during these ten on different scientific forums, Lak Zaee said: "In these forums, experts on historical, (theological) logic, jurisprudence, ethics, arts and the media will scrutinize different aspects of the enlightening life of the holy Prophet (s)  and will assess the Western motivations behind campaigning against his blessed personality.Other special programs held during these ten days, it has been announced, there will be the holding of lectures and questions and answers on the Internet in Arabic and English, the secretary of cultural affairs of the Ahl al-Bayt (‘a) World Assembly said: "Also, several festivals will be held by the Ahl al-Bayt (‘a) local communities all over the world. These communities are affiliated with the Assembly, and they will hold their activities during the Prophet’s birth anniversary daysInaugurating the Holy Prophet (s) website in five languages, Dr. Lak Zaee stated the following: "The web site about the Holy Prophet is already being constructed following few years of activity. It now has hundreds of articles and texts in Persian, Arabic, English, Turkish and Urdu. As a big portal website of Ahl al-Bayt (‘a), it will be officially inaugurated during these ten days.Referring to the official beginning of the website presenting the Assembly’s cultural products via the Internet also during these ten days, Dr. Zaee said, "The Ahl al-Bayt (‘a) World Assembly houses more than one thousand books, magazines, software products and different cultural products which our dear people may access, buy or download.       /129
