(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - According to IQNA’s ICRO branch, Iran Cultural Center in the capital city hosted the mourning ceremony on January 3.
The program was attended by over 250 Muslim citizens, students and Iranians residing in the city.
It was addressed by Hojat-ol-Islam Mousawi, chancellor of Al-Mustafa International University's branch, who elaborated on the character of the late scholar and the great teacher of morality.
Besides mourning rituals performed on the occasion, the participants recited Komeil supplication and Fatiha (Surahs Fatiha and Ikhlas) for elevation of the late scholar's soul.
Grand Ayatollah Agha Mojtaba Kalhor Tehrani (April 4, 1933 – January 1, 2013) was an outstanding student of Imam Khomeini (RA) in Fiqh (jurisprudence), philosophy, ethics, and Irfan (mysticism).
He passed away on January 1, in Tehran, and Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei attended the funeral procession of the great Shia figure.
