(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The original Persian version of the work was printed by Madreseh Bohran institute and was distributed by Phoenix Publications in the Iranian book market, said Afshin Shahneh Tabar, manager of Candle & Fog Iranian-English Publishing Institute.
The work is now rendered into English by Shaghayegh Ghandehari and is to be released by Candle & Fog in the UK.
As he said, the electronic version of the work will be offered at Amazon and Barnes & Noble websites and at the same time will be distributed among bookstores in Malaysia and England.
In the novel, the author narrates the historical events in the life of Prophet Mohammad in a modern storytelling style with special focus on Moslems’ interaction with the followers of other religions and roots of mischievous Zionistic activities in the first years of Islam.
Moreover, it reflects on the international conditions at the time Prophet Mohammad was appointed by God as the last divine messenger.
Afshin Shahneh Tabar further stated that his company will presently released the English rendition of another book by the same author which is entitled as the White Crow.
He further named other new releases of the institute which will be the English rendition of Attar’s The Conference of the Birds (Mantiqu 't-Tayr, 1177) and the 17-year-old Mahshid Nikravesh’s My Sunset. The latter is originally written in English.
The English version of Open Your Lips by Shohreh Vakili was previously published by Candle & Fog Publications in England and the US.
Born in 1957 in Gorgan, Ebrahim Hassan Beigi is an Iranian writer residing in Malaysia. He studied Persian language and literature and writes short stories, novels and stories for children and teens.
Hassan Beigi is a prolific writer who has published numerous works for children and young adults. Some of his published works are Deep-rooted, Purple years, Signs of Morning, and the story collection Chatheha, Mountain and Ditch, The Architecture of Christ, Celebration of Wheat and Mohammad (S).
He previously had a conversation with IBNA in which he expressed his wish to have his novel (Mohammad) globalized.
