(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Today (Friday 14.12.2012) calling for the rightful demands they had started their revolution with 22 months from now. The people of Bahrain are demanding that the people be the source of all powers, sovereignty and decision-making through an elected government that is based on the popular will peaceful struggle started on 14th February 2011, the Bahraini people have become more aware, and eager and persistent to achieve their legitimate demands.
The opposition forces stressed that the popular will of democracy cannot be circumvented and any political project, dialogue or negotiations will not succeed unless it meets the popular demands which represent the least demands of the people of the Islamic Awakening.
The opposition emphasized that it is most keen to build a modern and developed state in which all citizens enjoy equality and prosperity. What has started on 14th February 2011 will not stop unless a real democratic transition ends the era of tyranny and oppression and the absence of state and the absolute absence of popular will.
The opposition declared that it will continue its movement in streets in line with its political, media and human rights efforts until the popular demands are met. It also urged the opposition masses to continue the civilized peaceful movement, and expressed its support to the peaceful pro-democracy movement in whole.
