(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - In Ashura season, Shiite religious speakers in different regions of Saudi Arabia prepare many programs, and deliver various lectures to educate the society in different fields whether religious, moral, economic, scientific or related to human rights issues.Shiites in different Saudi regions work for weeks before the beginning of Ashura season in Muharram. During this season, all people of different ages cooperate together and volunteer in everything; some of them offer beverages and serve food while others organize and prepare for various programs.Many educational and intellectual programs for both adults and children accompany the season of Ashura. There are health corners, art, calligraphy and photography exhibitions and blood donation units.Plays over what had happened in Karbala are, also, common and presented in different regions whether in open squares or on stages inside installed camps. These plays, which are always attended by a large number of people, are presented in the tenth day of Muharram of every year and are locally prepared from the scratch.In general, the interaction with such programs is remarkable which reflects the level of Shiites’ cultural awareness./129
