(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Mihazza village in Sitra island, south of the capital Manama, has been targeted by the regime forces for more than three days. The regime forces are heavily deployed in the besieged area, tens of houses have been raided in a scene that looks more like a state of martial law.5o homes have been raided until the moment of writing this report during the past four days. The forces have raided some houses during the day, but most happened at dawn, as the forces aim through the illegal raids, which go without presenting warrants, to terrifying the households in a very inhuman and outrageous way.Citizens were surprised to find the forces had broken into their homes while they were asleep. Eyewitnesses say that the regime forces were backing militias in plain clothes, the forces take every road and alley and surround the neighborhood in which a house is to be raided, then the brutal raid takes place, breaking doors, terrify women and children and vandalizing property .The forces massively took the besieged area, check-points and military roadblocks were set, disturbing traffic and terrifying residents. The area is reported to have been attacked at night with different arms including birdshots and lethal toxic tear gas.Tens of masked men backed by the forces in civil and military cars prowled the neighborhoods at night to terrify the residents and besieged the seashore of the village.This comes after the week-long siege of Al-Eker, in which a large number of houses were raided, citizens assaulted, children were not allowed out of the area to attend school, and neither were people to attend work. Even basic needs like food were halted in the area. Al-Eker was totally isolated from the surrounding areas as well as the sea, patients who needed medical care were prevented from reaching hospitals because of the siege. /129
