Bahraini Information minister promotes lies and fabrications

The Nov 2012 The opposition parties in Bahrain emphasized that the Bahraini Information Minister, Sameera Rajab, gave false and misleading information about the recent bombing incidents in Bahrain.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - "Shortly after the incidents, the minister misleadingly communicated falsifications and lies to shove the Bahraini opposition in with no single rational evidence. It is very clear to all that the approach adopted by the opposition parties is far from the terrible nature of such acts. The opposition had made clear that it steadily stands against any level of violence. In fact, the non-violence approach is unquestionably the core of the opposition's pro-democracy nonstop struggle".

The opposition parties stressed that "the civilized peaceful pro-democracy approach which is respected by all; is unchangeable, deep-rooted and continuous." "Any act from any part of the regime, or others will not change or affect the approach of the massive popular movement of the people in Bahrain; who demand real democratic transition".

"Escaping the core of the problem in Bahrain will change nothing, as the vast majority believe in the necessity of the change and democratic solutions that guarantee real participation of the people in managing their affairs", the opposition stated.

The opposition parties pointed out that " misleading lies and falsification promoted by the regime personnel reflects a serious crisis in Bahrain and its urgent need for a national political project which is based on the respect of citizens to build a real democratic state in which the people are the source of all powers".

" Official propaganda and trickery are an old policy in which false fabrications were circulated for a year and a half. And the BICI report has disapproved many official lies; whether about SMC medics, teachers, or the dismissed. The regime had and still intends to run away from the urgent political entitlements through such fabrications".

The opposition parties, also, deplored how some officials rushed to irrationally link the recent incidents to call-off the dialogue, while there is no dialogue in the first place. The opposition said, " Proclaiming ready-made accusations before impartial investigations take place, reveal the bad intentions of the regime to exploit such incidents to again escape the national democratic entitlements to our people".
