(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Different cities of Nigeria hosted ceremonies on the occasion of Eid Al-Ghadir on November 3.
The programs were held by Kowthar Institute in Katsina, Thaqalain Institute in Kaduna and Islamic Movement of Nigeria in Zaria.
The program at Maryam Hall in Katsina was addressed by Sheikh Yunis Mohammad Thani, religious scholar of the country who talked about Velayat (religious leadership) of Imam Ali (AS) and Ghadir-e Khum event.
Sheikh Taher, representative of Thaqalain Institute in Yola and Sheikh Yusuf, representative of the Islamic institute in Bauchi presented speeches at the ceremonies held in the two cities on the occasion.
Imamate of Imam Ali (AS) and his Velayat were clarified by Sheikh Ibrahim Ya'qub Zakzaki, leader of the Islamic movement, at the program in Zaria.
The programs were attended by religious scholars, intellectuals and a large number of Nigerian citizens, Shia Muslims and Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) devotees.
