(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - According to Ahlul Bayt news agency – ABNA – "Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky" Shia Muslim cleric in Nigeria, and head of Nigeria's Islamic Movement, during his presence at the international conference of Ghadir emphasized the importance of Ghadir and said: "The Ghadir event is very significant because it has been a dividing factor between two main sects of Muslims”.
“And this was not because of Muslims, who never heard the Holy Prophet’s speech, but it had been heard by all Muslims and many of them reported it. So it was just because of Shia who were the only group among the Muslims to take it as a message from Allah Almighty and the others ignored its significance,” the cleric added.
"For bringing people into contact with this event it's really necessary to hold lots of meetings. With doing this we could debate every attitude of this event. In this case, we will see all the problems that the nation of Prophet Were faced with after separation, have their roots in ignorance of this significant event," referring to the importance of introducing the ghadir to the other Muslims, Sheikh Zakzaky added.
At the end of his speech, Sheikh Zakzaky referred to the situation of the oppressed people of Bahrain and said: "today we see how all governments closed their eyes on the events occurring in Bahrain. All of this is because the majority of Bahrainis are Shia. They believe in Imamat and Velayat. This ideology is the thing which fears the western countries who want to rule all over the world."
