MALAYSIA (Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Over 50,000 Muslims in Penang are expected to attend the 'Silaturrahim Ummah' event in Padang Kota Lama on Oct 28.
The event is organised by the Penang Muslim Network (JMPP) with the aim of being a catalyst to unite the Muslims, regardless of their race and colour.
JMPP coordinator Mohamed Hafiz Mohamed Nordin said it was high time for the split among Muslims be stopped and for the Muslim brotherhood to be rejuvenated and strengthened for the sake of Islam and the country.
The event will be held at the Speakers Corner in Padang Kota Lama from 6.30pm till 1pm, he told reporters here today.
