Ghadir Mosque Opens in Tanzania

A new mosque called “Ghadir” opened on October 1 in Kigogo region of Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) -  A new mosque called “Ghadir” opened on October 1 in Kigogo region of Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania.The mosque was opened at a ceremony held at 4"00 p.m. local time with the participation of Hojat-ul-Islam Mohammad Iraqi, member of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) World Assembly, a number of scholars, intellectuals and Muslim citizens.The mosque set up near Imam Sadeq (AS) Seminary School in Kigogo enables Muslims of the region to hold educational courses on Islamic and Quranic sciences and practice their congregational worships as well.Kigogo is an administrative ward in the Kinondoni district of the Dar es Salaam Region of Tanzania. According to the 2002 census, the ward has a total population of 37,964. /129
