Kazakh Translation of Imam Ali’s (AS) Letter to Malik Al-Ashtar Released

Iran's Cultural Center in Kazakhstan has published a Kazakh translation of Imam Ali’s (AS) letter to Maalik Al-Ashtar.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Iran's Cultural Center in Kazakhstan has published a Kazakh translation of Imam Ali’s (AS) letter to Maalik Al-Ashtar.

The letter has been rendered into Kazakh language by the Iranian center in cooperation with the Center for Translation and Publication of Islamic Teachings and Human Sciences.

Imam Ali (AS) wrote a letter on Islamic principles and instructions to Maalik Al-Ashtar, his famous companion, when appointed him as the Governor of Egypt.

In short this letter is on one hand the Gospel of the principles of administration as taught by the Holy Quran, a code to establish a kind and benevolent rule, throwing light on various aspects of justice, benevolence and mercy, an order based on the ethics of Divine rulership where justice and mercy are shown to human beings irrespective of class, creed and color, where poverty is neither a stigma nor a disqualification and where justice is not tainted with nepotism, favoritism, provincialism or religious fanaticism; and, on the other hand, it is a thesis on the higher values of morality.

The Kazakh edition of the letter has been published in 106 pages including explanations and additional notes.

The Iranian center also plans to publish other Islamic sources such as biography of the 14 infallible Imams (peace be upon them) in Kazakh language.
