SINGAPORE (Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Singapore Mosques Korban Committee said there is a likelihood that the korban may not be held at mosques this year.The korban ritual where livestock is sacrificed is held on Hari Raya Haji, which falls on 26 October.The Committee said the Australian authorities have yet to approve the application for 16 mosques audited in April and July as being in compliance with its Exporter Supply Chain Assurance System.It advises Muslims to make alternative arrangements for korban to be performed overseas should they wish to, if the mosques do not get the approval.Livestock for the ritual is typically imported from Australia./129
