Bahraini regime forces fired lethal tear gas inside a place of worship in Shahrakan village on Monday, 17thApril, causing injuries and asphyxia among the people who were attending a religious ceremony. Some were taken to hospital.

The village, which was not witnessing any protests at the time, was heavily rained with lethal gases fired at houses and in streets. Such behavior strongly proves the official systematic targeting of Bahraini's lives.

The lethal gases used by the regime forces against the people throughout the previous 18 months have resulted in many deaths especially among children and elderly. The forces deliberately fire at houses and inside alleyways in densely populated areas making it impossible to breathe
