(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Thousands of people demonstrated again on Friday in many Muslim countries against the film "The Innocence of Muslims" produced in the United States, that offends Islam and its Prophet Muhammad.
Quoting news reports in Sudan's capital Khartoum, Algerian Press Service said some 5,000 people attacked the British and German embassies, setting fire to it and tore the German flag.
The protesters mounted on the roof of the embassy building which facade was destroyed and the police responded with tear gas to disperse protesters who denounced a movie that offends Islam and its Prophet, released in the United States and on the internet.
In Lebanon, APS said hundreds of people burned a United States fast-food outlet in northern Tripoli city.
Around 200 Syrian protesters held a sit-in protest on Friday afternoon in front of the US embassies in Damascus, closed since several months, against the anti-Islamic film.
The protesters wore placards hostile to the film, which is said to "fanning the flames of religious conflict," accusing the US administration of having allowed the production of the film.
In Egypt, clashes between police and demonstrators protesting against the film continued Friday around the US embassy in Cairo.
In Algeria, APS journalist witnessed about 100s people demonstrated peacefully on Friday in the town of Kouba to denounce the film.
Gathered after Friday prayers, protesters chanted slogans praising Islam and Prophet Muhammad, rejecting Islamophobia and insults to religious symbols.
"Freedom of expression does not mean insult and defamation", "We condemn the attack on the image of the prophet, the best creature of Allah," shout the protesters.
The protesters waving placards also were written slogans showing anger against the production of the film were gathered while police closed roads leading to the main arteries of Kouba.
Algeria has strongly criticised the "irresponsibility" of the authors of this film.
"From its deep commitment to harmony between different faiths and respect for all religions, Algeria strongly deplores the irresponsibility of the filmmakers of 'Innocence of Muslims' who offends Islam and its Prophet," stated the spokesperson of Affairs Foreign Ministry Amar Belani.
