(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Al-Wefaq National Islamic society stressed that the announcement of the Ministry of Interior is full of clear lies and misleading information about issues that were not committed by the civilized peaceful protesters who were at their highest level of commitment to the peaceful approach. Despite the violent acts perpetrated by the regime forces, protesters maintained the public properties and kept order in the capital Manama all the time.

Al-Wefaq stated that "all outlawed behaviors were exclusively perpetrated by security forces who brutally suppressed citizens by using tear gas, stun grenades, batons, verbal assaults, brutally beating and all kind of outrageous human rights violations".

"The capital Manama was heavily militarized by all kinds of security services, cops with their uniforms, police-backed masked militias, agents, and police with civil clothes. They did not give a chance for any citizen to move rather than raising a slogan of the popular demands. They were ready to attack peaceful protesters with different kinds of weapons in order to silence any voice. This reflects the level of the militarization that the capital Manama was subjected to and how the pressure that the security force were at, as the regime forces  were in every corner and alleyway of the capital Manama.

Al-Wefaq stressed that the MOI statement just wanted to digress the direction of violations perpetrated by it security forces starting from banning the rally and preventing the people from exercising their right of freedom of expression; to having injured people, arrests and other violations committed by its officers, security forces and others that participated in suppressing today's peaceful rally.
