(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Managing Director of Ministry of Science, Research & Technology Jalil Dara outlined the programs of the 27th Iranian Students National Quran Festival.
The Quranic contest has changed into a Quranic Festival he said and added:" 19 new fields have been established and this year's festival will be held in four sections including oral, research, literature and arts which will include fictions, poetry, plays, scripts, books, theses and articles."
Talking about the role of books and research in Quranic festivals he told IBNA's reporter that in the field of Quranic competitions, all the issues are themed on the Holy Quran. In the section of research, book's production has been included while following the festival, top Quranic theses will be published."
He went on to say that cooperating with the Guidance Minstry, 30 top theses of the previous editions are being released and the theses of new editions will be released following their assessments.
He then talked about the activities of the cultural deputy office of the Ministry of Science, Research & Technology saying that the department is responsible for promoting Islamic concepts in universities.
In fact one main impressive cultural work is paying heed to Quranic instructions, he added. Moreover he said:" Since we are approaching the 27th Iranian Students National Quran Festival, I can say that a great summer is awaiting us and now I can claim that the cultural deputy office was a vanguard in the field."
He furthermore said that he was glad that the Quranic competitions turned into a festival. Last year some 19,000 participants attended the event.
Talking about the festival he said that the written section will include The studies of Quran, Quran and Etrat, Quranic concepts and Infallibles' hagiography and point of views.
The research section will include Quran and Etrat's "Books", "Articles", "Software" and "Weblog Writing". The literary section will included Quran and Etrat's "Poetry", "Fictions", "Scripts" and "Plays".
