(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Tunisian government has imposed an overnight curfew on the capital and seven other cities and suburbs in the wake of protests over an art exhibition in the North African country.The curfew started at 9 p.m. (2000 GMT) on Tuesday and will last until 5 a.m. local time (0400 GMT) on Wednesday, Reuters reported.The curfew is being enforced throughout the capital Tunis, the suburbs of Ben Arouss, Ariana, and Manouba as well as the cities of Sousse, Monastir, Jendouba, and Ben Guerdane.On Tuesday, Tunisian police fired warning shots at protesters, who were infuriated by an art exhibition deemed to be “blasphemous.”According to Tunisian Interior Ministry spokesman Lotfi Hidouri, 90 people have been arrested in the suburbs since Sunday, when demonstrations against the art exhibition were staged. /129
