(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Grand Ayatollah Lotfollah Safi-Golpayegani, a Qom-based Shi’a source of jurisprudence, referring to catastrophic conditions of Bahraini Shi’as, said on Monday that Bahraini rulers' behavior is totally inhumane.
The grand ayatollah made the comment Monday evening in a meeting with a group of clergies in charge of a traditional religious ritual, called ‘E’tekaf’.
He added, “The rulers of Bahrain have comprehended nothing from the fundamentals of humanity, let alone respecting the human rights.”
He said, “So much cruelty conducted by the savage criminals against the people of Bahrain is because the entire rulers of Bahrain are slaves of their carnal desires.”
