(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Bahraini regime forces have once again attacked anti-government demonstrators, using tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse the protesters in the capital, Manama.The demonstrators were chanting slogans against the ruling Al Khalifa family in the capital on Monday. They also called for the release of political prisoners in Bahrain.Meanwhile, a recently published video broadcast by Al-Alam news network showed Bahraini security forces dragging a fifteen-year-old student after he was beaten unconscious by them.The teen had been arrested on his way to school in the northern village of A’ali, about 15 kilometers (9 miles) southwest of Manama. He was reportedly taken to an unknown location afterward.The Saudi-backed Bahraini regime forces continue their violent crackdown on peaceful anti-regime demonstrations.Also on Monday, protesters held a demonstration near Manama against the US support for the regime’s ongoing suppression.The US State Department said on May 11 that Washington will resume arms sales to Bahrain. However, Bahraini opposition groups and activists condemned the decision, saying it could encourage further human rights violations in the Persian Gulf country. /129
