(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Al-Wefaq condemns damaging acts of public and private property no matter the justifications and no matter who is behind these acts. However, the society emphasized that such kind of strange behavior is not of the norm of revolution's people. We continue to stress and emphasize to adhere to peaceful methods and reassure that the revolution's audience do not resort to these methods even in the worst circumstances. Today's events which included burning buses in Daih and Sehla and unusual damaging of properties raises suspiciousness and doubt in their content, details and the way they were promoted, this makes certain that these acts are not of the protest movement's.
Al-Wefaq warns of such actions that seek to distort and discredit the protest movement and work on twisting it out of its target path. Not to mention that denial statements of responsibility have been issued by areas which witnessed the incidents. It is most probable that those responsible for today's incidents are the same groups who smashed and stolen trading stores and attacked neighborhoods such as Darkulaib.
These groups are enjoying impunity and are not in pursuit of security forces. Not to mention, armed civilians who widely spread in residential areas and whome last victim was the citizen - journalist - Ahmed Ismael. Ahmed has not been buried yet as authorities reject to document live bullets as cause of death.
