(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - According to the rights activist’s wife, Khadija Al-Moussawi, Khawaja’s doctor said that “once he sleeps he will go into a coma”.
The Bahraini opposition website reported that Al-Moussawi wrote on her account on Twitter that “I don’t have enough time to hear his voice or see him”.
“My husband called me today to inform that he had decided to stop taking sugar since Monday morning because the situation in our beloved country is worsening,” she added.
Moreover, Khawaja’s wife said her husband wrote a letter this morning addressing her, his children, and his son-in-law, in which he said: “from behind the prison bars I send you my love and greetings. These bars don’t separate us… they rather increase our connection… We are still together, because of our faith that we are facing a path that we consciously chose and took… and we will continue on it and stay patient… and we must not let difficulties and pain affect our pleased spirits that are confident that Allah is witnessing all this…”
