(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The 2nd edition of a regional forum on “Islamic economy in the Arab Maghreb” will be held on April 14-15 in Nouakchott, the capital of Mauritania.According to mauritanie-web, the forum has been planned by the Islamic Association of the Private Sector’s Development and the General Council of Islamic Banking. It will be attended by experts and economists from Mauritania, Morocco, Libya, Algeria and Tunisia.Capacities of the Arab Maghreb countries in development of Islamic economy and strategies for attracting foreign investments will be among the issues discussed at the forum.The participants will also discuss the role of Islamic economy in the development of financial system, increasing the number of small and medium institutes and methods for replacing the existing economic systems in the world with the financial systems according to Islamic Shari’ah.The forum is considered an appropriate opportunity for Islamic economy experts to exchange their experiences and develop cooperation.The first edition of the forum was held on July 15-16, 2011, in Tunisia. /129
