(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - 70th Bahraini civilian has martyred of asphyxia after Saudi-backed regime forces fired toxic tear gas into his house, ABNA reported.
Hajj Mansour Salman Hassan, 85, from Sitrah village, martyred today morning 18.2.2012 after al Khalifa forces attacked his house using tear gas.
Martyr Hajj Mansoor was asleep in the hall in the 10:30 pm when al-Khalifa mercenary forces thrown toxic tear into his house. Suddenly his daughter carried him to the another room. She came out a little and when she comes back found her father thrown on the ground breathing heavily, his eyes red and his left hand had swollen as a result of falling and could not speak.
They tried to transfer him to the nearest hospital but because of full of toxic gases in the region were not able to transfer him to hospital and remained with him until the morning. His health was getting worse, he was transferred to emergency Salmaniya hospital. But he martyred at the early morning.
Yesterday also The 19-year-old Hussain al-Baqalai was severely injured after Saudi-backed Bahraini troops attacked a protest rally in the village of Jidd Hafs on Thursday.
According to activists, he died of his wounds hours later after police prevented his family from taking him to hospital.
The number of Bahraini martyrs reached to 70.
