(Ahlul bayt News Agency), According to witnesses groups of activists and people are trying to gain access to the Shuhada square (Pearl Roundabout) while the square and other main centers of the cities surrounded by the al-Khalifa troops and armed forces. Most of the areas are under very tight security measures. A Bahraini medic in an international organization said on Tuesday that, there are more than 100 cases of head injury and more than 100 others fractures of the bones... .

Security forces severely fired teargas and stun grenades at peaceful protestors in on the first anniversary of the revolution in the Gulf kingdom. Armoured vehicles patrolled the capital Manama in a security clampdown after protesters flung volleys of petrol bombs at police cars. There was also a massive police presence in most of the villages ringing Manama, with helicopters buzzing.

Meanwhile,  security forces arrested dozens of citizens, including women and children and raided the houses.

Scores of the Bahraini protesters have been martyred so far during violent Manama-sanctioned campaign of suppression.

Sara Marusek, a political analyst from Beirut, said the Manama regime has been “somewhat successful in at least, apparently, making law and order in their authoritarian and draconian and very violent way. They have destroyed mosques.”

Marusek added that it is “increasingly ironic” that the Bahraini regime sounds like Israel in its behavior and “its excuses to say things like these mosques were illegally built.”
