(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The five major Bahraini opposition parties (al-Wefaq, al-Ikhaa', Waad (Promise), al-Watani al-Wehdawi (National Unionist), the National Gathering) launched Saturday night a week-long protest in presence of a huge turnout of protesters.
The event, entitled "Steadfast and Will Not Bow" was announced in a gathering at the Freedom Square in the town of al-Makshaa, aiming at paving the way to revive the Pearl Square protest on February 14.
Also, the February 14 youth coalition affirmed on its social network page on Facebook its full support to the week-long demonstration, calling upon all followers of the February 14 movement in all Bahraini areas to take part in the protest, which will mark their "Pearl Revolution's" first year anniversary.
Meanwhile, the brutal crackdown is still ongoing against peaceful protesters, who remain steadfast in their demands of justice and freedom from the Saudi-backed Al Khalifa regime.
