(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The original version of the translation will be put on public display at the library of the Islamic assembly (Majlis).
The work is being kept at Turkey's Topkapı Palace and has been digitalized by Mohammad Emadi Haeri, said Mohammad Reza Safiyari, public relations manager of Majli Library and Archives Center, in an interview with us.
As he said, the manuscript by Othman inb Hussein Ravagh Ghaznavi is believed to be the oldest translation manuscript of the holy Quran in the world belonging to 1091.
According to Safiyari, the printed copy of the manuscript has been published by the Majli with support from Topkapı museum.
The unveiling ceremony is slated for Sunday, February 5 at the Majlis library in Tehran parallel with the birthday anniversary of Prophet Mohammad.
Head of Majlis Ali Larijani, Turkey's envoy in Iran, manager of Topkapı Palace, Iran's cultural attaché to Turkey and ambassadors of a number of other countries in Iran are invited to the ceremony.
